It is that time of year again, my favourite – when the whole of the countryside surrounding us, looks like pink and white snow with the almond blossom in full bloom.
For some time now both Dan and I have been really enjoying taking photos of the beautiful countryside around us and love the changes with the seasons. Winter and Spring is by far the best time as the countryside is more lush and full of flowers and blooms, than any other time. In the hot summer months it tends to be more arid and dry. Dan is much better at taking photos than I but I do try!! We have had lots of guests here, who have shared their photos with us and have been keen to take pictures in our gardens and the surrounding areas. Great subject for enthusiasts, as our garden always looks sumptuous with blooms all year round, Dan works very hard to keep it so beautiful.
So, as a few people have asked us in the past if we would run a photography course and as luck would have it we have found a great photography teacher, we ware going to run some photography courses this year. Martin Edwards is based in the UK and will come to Tara Casa to run a course in May and again in September. Martin has been running photography courses and workshops at all levels for many years, from primary school to postgraduate, and across a wide range of subjects.
